Your Move Connecting Schools Grants

The State Government is providing local students and their families with a $125,000 boost to become more active, with applications now open for the 2021-22 Connecting Schools Grants. The funding provides schools with bike and scooter parking, bike repair stations, wayfinding signage, and bike skills or road safety education to encourage active transport.

Connecting Schools Grants are linked to accreditation levels in the Your Move Schools program, which encourages more students to cycle and walk to school. Western Australian schools already participating in the program, as well as schools that would like to be involved, can apply for a Connecting Schools funding package.

There are 28 fucnding packages available between now and December 31, 2021.
