Hello and welcome to the Pilbara Health Professionals Network (PHPN)!
My name is Alisha and I am the Regional Program Coordinator based in Karratha at the Rural Clinical School and the WA Primary Health Alliance. Having moved from Qld to the Pilbara over 15 years ago, I joined the PHPN team in June 2021 and feel honoured to have the opportunity to get to know all of the health professionals living in the Pilbara and learn about their journey.
I actively develop the network, expanding its membership and coordinating any health professional educational and networking events delivered by the PHPN. I am also responsible for managing the PHPN website and social platforms.
The Network will bring together health professionals from all specialties to network, socialise, develop professional skills and share referral pathways. Overall, the PHPN aims to improve patient care, enhance education and training opportunities, and support the attraction and integration of staff living in the Pilbara.
