    The Hedland Plastering workshop will be presented by Dr Dirck Ananos (MBBS, FRACS (PLAS)). Dirck completed medical training in 2002, graduating from the Cayetano Heredia University,Peru, South America with a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Following this in 2004, Dirck emigrated to the UK where he completed surgical rotations in London and Belfast. In 2016, Dirck was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.     Join us for a wound care workshop presented by Beth Sperring (clinical nurse consultant) and Donna Larsen (nurse practitioner) from Royal Perth Bentley Group who will demonstrate how to assess and manage chronic and acute wounds. We will discuss dressing selection, compression therapy and bandaging. Case studies will be utilised for discussion and provide participants the opportunity to ‘touch, feel and apply’ many of the dressing products currently in use.
