The Minister for Mental Health has announced the opening of a six-month public comment period for people to have their say on the Statutory Review of the Mental Health Act (2014), and the release of a Discussion Paper to help guide the public comment period. Submissions will be received up to 31 January 2022.

The Minister also announced an expression of interest for grants to conduct face to face engagement sessions with individuals with lived experience. The application period is open from 13 August to 23 September 2021. Information on the grants process is available here.
