RAISING AWARENESS + UNDERSTANDING FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION

Rowan Dann the founder of Rowan’s Walk, started 4 years ago when Rowan had a vision to walk from Port Hedland to South Hedland, in memory of his Aunty who tragically took her own life. Rowan wanted to raise awareness of the mental health challenges in his community and to honor and remember those who had lost their life to suicide.

This year Rowan’s walk will be held on the Wednesday 11th August at multiple towns across the Pilbara.

ROEBOURNE – 7am ANDOVER WAY PARK
NEWMAN – 6am RADIO HILL
PORT HEDLAND – 6am REDBANK SALT BRIDGE

Watch video  HERE  which will provide further insight into the cause, if you haven’t heard of Rowan’s Walk previously.
