  • Australia Day – BHP Community Pool Party – South Hedland

    The BHP Community Pool Party will take place at South Hedland Aquatic Centre from 2pm to 5pm. The Party will be free entry and feature a free barbecue, DJ and activities such as pool inflatables and water bomb competitions.     Starting on February 8th  2021 we have an Exercise Physiologist running a six week program at the Centre for anyone who has had cancer. Courtney is an accredited Exercise Physiologist who has worked with Cancer Clients previously. She has the knowledge and skill to design, evaluate and deliver a safe exercise program for anyone who has had cancer or currently going through treatment. Benefits include improved muscle strength, fitness, physical function, immune function, mood and self esteem.     FREE 2 Day Training  ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
