Webinar: COVID-19 and Advance Care Planning Webinar for hospital health professionals
Advance care planning, COVID-19 and Healthcare & Hospital Services
Advance care planning is an important part of Australia’s COVID-19 healthcare planning. Advance Care Planning Australia is keen to support healthcare and hospital services professionals to identify advance care planning priorities and actions required.
The Australian Health Management Plan for Pandemic Influenza 2019 cites the importance of Advance Care Directives as part of a coordinated response. Current research estimates that only 25% of older Australians have documented their preferences in an Advance Care Directive.
