Training health providers to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQA+ young people | Webinar

Wungening Aboriginal Corporation’s Dabakarn Kadadjiny (slow steady learning) Research-to-Practice Seminar Series is a free online series of presentations from Wungening’s research partners.

This project arose from the needs identified by the initial findings from the Walkern Katatdjin (Rainbow Knowledge) project. Findings showed that more work was needed by Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) to provide safe LGBTQA+ care. We will discuss a training and evaluation project that aims to strengthen the capacity of staff working in ACCOs to deliver support to First Nations LGBTQA+ youth (14-25 years).
