Stronger and Safer Communities and Families for the Pilbara Launch – South Hedland

The WA Centre for Rural Health invites you to the launch of the Stronger and Safer Communities and Families for the Pilbara project as part of the Vital Change programs led by WACOSS and funded by BHP. Have your say on the Pilbara prevention strategy to address family and domestic violence.

Venue: Wanangkura Stadium – Jimblebar Room South Hedland

Hear about the SSCFP project and how the strategy aims to reduce family
and domestic violence across the Pilbara. Two professional speakers will present; Dr Carolyn Johnson and Prof Sandra Thompson. Followed by an interactive session to hear from you about how to address family and domestic violence in the Pilbara.

Community members, service providers, health professionals, local businesses and educators are encouraged to attend.
