PHPN Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease education event | South Hedland

The PHPN invites Pilbara health professionals to attend the education event ‘Let’s talk about Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease’ presented by Dr Benjamin King, Electrophysiologist and General Cardiologist.
This event will also be offered virtually for those unable to attend in person. The link will be shared with registered participants 24 hours prior to the event.
Light meal Provided.

Bio: Dr Benjamin King, Electrophysiologist and General Cardiologist
Ben graduated with Honours in 2003 at The University of Western Australia Medical School. He trained in internal medicine and cardiology at Royal Perth Hospital and Fremantle Hospital as well as in London, UK. He then completed subspecialty training in electrophysiology and pacing at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. Ben is the clinical lead of the Ventricular Tachycardia service at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He practises both in general cardiology as well as heart rhythm disorders. Ben has trained to implant all forms of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation devices as well as performs ablations including supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation (AF), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and arrhythmias in adult congenital heart disease.
