Pilbara Health Weight Action Workshop

WA Country Health Service and WA Primary Health Alliance have convened a Pilbara Healthy Weight Action Plan Workshop to commence the development of a Pilbara-focused action plan to improve system wide support for the early intervention and management of overweight and obesity.

In 2018, 77.7% of Pilbara adults and 29.2% of children were living with overweight and obesity. The Pilbara Healthy Weight Action Workshop will provide an opportunity for local stakeholders to identify regional priorities, capacities and actions that will support the implementation of the WA Healthy Weight Action Plan 2019 – 2024

Time: 8:30am to 1:00pm, with lunch included. (Coffee available from 8:00am)
