Managing Chronic Kidney Disease alongside other chronic conditions | Online Webinar

Chronic Kidney Disease rarely occurs in isolation. In a primary care setting, it is very likely that individuals will have a Chronic Kidney Disease diagnosis that sits alongside diabetes and CVD. These three chronic conditions share many treatment goals and management strategies. Applying a ‘whole of person’ approach to a real (de-identified) case study of a Torres Strait Islander man, our presenters Dr Tahira Scott (Nephrologist, Cape York Kidney Care) and Dr Andrea Miller (General Practitioner, Cape York Kidney Care), will journey through Chapter 3 of the Chronic Kidney Disease Management in Primary Care 5th handbook, Managing Chronic Kidney Disease alongside other chronic conditions.
