COVID-19 Infection Prevention & Control Preparedness Workshop-South Hedland
The workshop will assist staff of all levels, in community and social support organisations to respond to COVID-19 in our community.
Participants will be able to apply the principles of basic hygiene, health, cleaning and sanitation to the provision of local services and supports during local COVID-19 events.
Workshop outcomes:
- Understand the type of precautions required to interrupt the chain of transmission
- Define the criteria for selecting and using PPE for contact, droplet and airborne precautions
- Demonstrate how to don and doff Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Describe effective cleaning and sanitizing practices

Thursday 31st March 9.30am-11.30am, 1.00pm-3.00pm

Friday 1st April, 9.30am-11.30am
Workshops to be held at Bloodwood Tree, 19 Hamilton Rd, South Hedland.
Workshop numbers are strictly limited to 10.
