Early detection and intervention have been shown to reduce the progression of chronic kidney disease and its complications. It is essential to regularly check for the known complications of CKD and to monitor treatment targets. Common issue monitoring and management, according to best practice clinical action plans, that will be explored in this activity include persistent albuminuria, anaemia, hyperkalaemia, pain and pruritus.
