to attend this professional development webinar ‘Building parents’ understanding of play to nurture infant and toddler mental health’.
Play can be a powerful tool in supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of infants and toddlers. This webinar will explore how clinicians can utilise play interventions with parents, infants and toddlers to promote connection, communication and overall mental health.
Panellists will discuss the significance of play and outline how play interventions can be applied across the infant mental health spectrum, particularly focusing on how parent and child vulnerabilities can impact a child’s experience of play. Panellists will also identify multidisciplinary perspectives for supporting parents to play with their children to nurture secure relationships, build infant and toddler communication skills, and promote social and emotional development.
