Emerging Issues invitation – addressed by WACOSS Pilbara Manager

21 March 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with WA Council of Social Service, we are the peak body for the Western Australian community service sector. Our purpose is to drive social change with communities, through collective action and policy formulation, strengthening community services and influencing decision makers to ensure justice and equity. WACOSS Pilbara works alongside the rest of the organisation in delivering these goals, with a particular focus on prevention and reduction of family domestic violence.

We believe that communities flourish where people are given the opportunity to contribute and create. As such, please see below invitations to an informal and open discussion with myself about issues you are facing as community service organisations in the Pilbara. This meeting provides an opportunity for me to hear feedback from you that may be emerging or not currently captured in other inter-agencies. With the difficult circumstances we currently face as a region and sector, and in the lead up to the first District Leadership Group meeting of the year, this is a valuable opportunity to have your voice heard and amplified.

The meetings are to be held on zoom and are divided by locality. If you deliver services across multiple localities, please only select one.
