DESCRIPTION:A syphilis outbreak was identified in the Kimberley region in mid-2014 and is an ongoing concern across Western Australia\, including metro Perth\, today. Timely testing and treatment of sexual partners is critical to avoid complications and reduce the duration of infectiousness. Increasingly\, digital technology is being utilised to facilitate syphilis contact tracing and partner notification; however\, in Western Australia\, there are several barriers to utilising digital technology for this purpose.   \nThis session will provide a forum to discuss the complexities of the issue\, including the considerations for antenatal care and vulnerable populations utilising these platforms.
