DESCRIPTION:On Friday 11 November join us for a wound care workshop event presented by Beth Sperring (clinical nurse consultant) and Donna Larsen (nurse practitioner) from Royal Perth Bentley Group who will demonstrate how to assess and manage chronic and acute wounds. \nWe will discuss dressing selection\, compression therapy and bandaging. Case studies will be utilised for discussion and provide participants the opportunity to ‘touch\, feel and apply’ many of the dressing products currently in use. Please bring some of the dressings you currently use.\nInteraction is encouraged so come prepared to discuss and further develop skills in the management of wounds. \nMorning tea and lunch will be provided. Limited places available.\nRegistrations are essential \nThe Pilbara Health Professionals Network provides a central hub offering support and opportunities to network\, upskill\, share information and collaborate in a local\, supportive community environment.
