Pilbara Regional Clinical Committee – Expressions of Interest

WAPHA are currently seeking expressions of interest from Pilbara stakeholders to join the Pilbara Regional Clinical Committee.  They have vacancies for representatives of Aboriginal Health, Mental Health, Digital Health and LGBTI Health.

There are 7 RCCs across WA and their purpose is to:

  • Support healthcare integration in the region by sharing insights, information and knowledge with WAPHA and with each other
  • Strengthen local collaboration between stakeholders in primary care; and
  • Increase the transparency of WAPHA’s work to stakeholders.

Membership is formed around the seven priority pillars for Primary Health Networks, as guided by the Australian Government.  These are: population health (chronic disease), aboriginal health, aged care, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, digital health and health workforce, plus LGBTI health to support WAPHA’s leadership of sexuality and gender diversity inclusive practice in primary care.

WAPHA supports the participation of members by payment of a quarterly stipend.

If you are interested in joining, please visit the Primary Health Exchange website and click on nominate.  Nominations are being accepted until the end of July 2020.
