SUMMARY:UWA Social Work Information Session | Online
DESCRIPTION:The UWA Discipline of Social Work and Social Policy invites you to help us to promote the Social Work information evening\, available both in person and online. In this session\, we will present the structure of UWA’s new Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) courses\, including how they prepare students for professional practice in a variety of employment settings. Hear from our academic staff\, current students\, and recent graduates about their experiences and the benefits of studying Social Work. We are intentionally focussing on recruitment of Aboriginal students and those who may not have considered studying at UWA in the past and we have some support mechanisms in place to assist with student support and retention.
