SUMMARY:Triage Emergency Care Intensive course | Online
DESCRIPTION:The ‘workshop’ component will be held via a one-day Zoom session\, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your home or workplace. \nThe TEC Online Intensive course is based on the Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK) and has a unique focus on application in rural\, remote\, and isolated settings. While the course is designed primarily for nurses (including practice nurses) and GPs\, it is open to various healthcare professionals. It aims to upskill rural triage practitioners to confidently assess patients and apply the Australasian Triage Scale to allocate the appropriate triage category. \nEach course includes self-directed pre-course learning and provides a TEC certificate. \nThe course delivers a combination of five self-directed online learning modules that include case scenarios\, quizzes\, and activities\, along with online discussion boards and one full-day online workshop. \nCourses will run from 8.00am to 2:30pm WST on the following dates. \n\nThursday\, 6 February 2025\nThursday\, 27 February 2025\nThursday\, 6 March 2025\nMonday\, 31 March 2025\nWednesday\, 23 April 2025\nThursday\, 22 May 2025\nMonday\, 30 June 2025\n\n  \nREGISTER HERE
