SUMMARY:Aboriginal Health Conference 2024 | Perth
DESCRIPTION:The Aboriginal Health Conference 2024 will provide an opportunity to come together and learn from each other. Through presentations\, panel sessions\, case study discussions and workshops we will provide an engaging and informative conference program for delegates. The 2024 theme\, “Circling the Fire: Connecting\, Celebrating\, and Committing to Aboriginal Health\,” embodies the spirit of unity\, celebration\, and dedication to improving Indigenous health outcomes. This theme aligns seamlessly with the NAIDOC theme for 2024\, ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak\, Loud and Proud\,’ reinforcing our commitment to empowering Aboriginal communities. \n\nThe conference program will have five streams\, providing comprehensive insights into crucial aspects of Aboriginal health: \n\nChronic disease\nSexual health\nCulturally safe practice\nSocial and emotional wellbeing\nHealth across the life course\n\nIn acknowledgment of the UN’s Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples\, celebrated annually on August 9th\, our conference serves as a platform to spread the United Nations’ message on the protection and promotion of the rights of Indigenous peoples. Join us in honouring this significant day and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on Indigenous rights.\nVisit the conference website for more information and to register. \nFor any further enquiries please email the events team at ahc@ruralhealthwest.com.au
